Magdalena Hausen was a German artist, renowned for making the first photographs of the wind. This film tells her story, beginning with archives from childhood until her mysterious disappearance fifteen years ago.

Production note

In his first film short film, awarded visual artist Yannis Karpouzis along with an internationally acclaimed team (Hanna Schygulla, Andreas Pietschmann, Eleni Karaindrou, Giorgos Frentzos) narrates the life story of German photographer Magdalena Hausen. Shot in many locations in Germany, Iceland and Greece, the movie aspires to juxtapose the northern sensitivity with the southern melancholy, the political history with the present and the still time of photographs with the moving time of pictures.
